WHAT THE ART MEANS

One big emblem fills the whole side of the bag, so it reads from across a room. A scorpion faces you head-on with its tail curled high overhead and both claws reaching forward, drawn not with lines but out of thousands of glowing gold particles and drifting indigo nebula gas — an apparition made of starlight rather than a picture of an animal. Laid over it is the real Scorpio constellation — bright gold stars joined by fine gold lines that land on the body. Veils of nebula spread out sideways as well as down, and fade to nothing well before the edges. Along the bottom sits the collection lockup: the Scorpio glyph, a slim divider rule with star finials, SCORPIO in letterspaced gold capitals, and the epithet THE VEILED DEPTHS in small caps beneath it. Nothing is printed behind the art — it goes straight onto black canvas, so the bag itself is the night sky. Scorpius is one of the few constellations that really does look like the thing it is named after: one long unbroken chain of stars that runs up from the claws, along the body, and out around a hooked tail. Antares, its brightest star, is a red supergiant sitting almost exactly where the scorpion’s heart would be — so in the art it burns largest and warmest at the center of the body, with one restrained touch of rose-magenta glow around it. Scorpio is the only sign in the collection allowed that color.

The whole Celestial collection is drawn one way. The ground is a deep midnight-navy night sky. The sign’s figure is made entirely of light — glowing antique-gold particles and indigo nebula gas, with nothing outlined and nothing filled in solid. Over that figure sits the sign’s real constellation: the actual stars in their actual positions, joined by thin gold lines that land on the body. It is meant to feel like a page from a star atlas rather than fantasy art — quiet, dark, and precise.
